Clarification on the baby's room/bed. Child has been in the crib for 18 mos. in the parents room.?

Not my child, but personally concerned about the psychological effects of having a child in the same room with its parents. Doesn’t seem to be healthy.

My answer still stands. The crib should have been put in it’s own room when the child was 2-3 months of age. By having the child in the room with the parent they are keeping the child from learning independence. (yes, they start learning this as a baby) I hope you can get through to the person who is doing this to their child.
