He’s lied and kept secrets from me (not cheating but w/ alcohol, feeling stressed about not being able to provide for the family- basically lack of communication on his part). We discussed it and I thought we were making progress. A few weeks ago I found a phone # from an old co-worker of his. A female who I’ve never liked or trusted. She seemed way to interested in my husband. We went out w/ her and her husband once about 3-4 years ago. This woman left his workplace just over 2 years ago. Anyway, to make a long story short..I find this #. At first my husband lies and says its old and must have been laying under his car seat. Well, after much prodding & pushing he admits he called her. She apparently didn’t answer and he didn’t leave a message and they never spoke or met up.He says he wanted to see how her job was going and to tell her he has another baby on the way, because "he’s proud & excited" and thought she’d like to know.. He says he’s completely satisfied w/ our marriage, life, etc. He loves me and would never jeopardize what we have. He says it was a stupid mistake and poor judgment and the call meant absolutely nothing. So, do I believe him and try to let this go? Or so I suspect more? My rational side tells me he has no time to meet up w/ this woman, except during his lunch hour..which it unlikely. Or so I want to believe. Any thoughts? He’s allowed to drink and rarely gets drunk. I found alcohol bottles in his car. He said it was to relieve stress.

My sister and I are only 3 months apart with our pregnancy and she has already had her baby. I am 8 months pregnant and just had my baby shower. She is a single mom and doesn’t have much of the big items. I got a crib & changing table combo and a stroller & car seat combo and tons of other items from my hubsands family. I wish so bad that I could afford to get her the same crib set and help her with the other big items. She is single mom and its been really hard for her. I feel bad about the things that I got that she doesn’t have yet it really hurts my feelings. She is so sweet about what I got and always tells me how beautiful it is and that makes me feel even worse. I want to do something really special for her for Mother Day and I want to do so much for her the baby I just don’t have much money as I am not currently working. any ideas of speical things I could do for her and the baby? I hate feeling this way I just wish I didn’t need the gifts I got so I could just give them all to her
