Sorry it took so long to upload! We had over 3 hours of footage so it took me a while to edit. And I’m so sorry a lot of the words are off from the picture, I have no idea how that happened! This baby shower was thrown by my side of the family on April 10, 2010 and Gabe’s side will be throwing us one in May =) I was 30 weeks and 1 day pregnant and we had so much fun! Lilia got SO many things, especially clothes! We also got a bassinet, baby swing, infant bath tub, high chair, and a travel system so sorry I couldnt fit everything into the video! They may have outgrew their rear facing car seat at this stage and now need a forward facing seat which is known as a Group 1 seat. If your baby is in a group 0+ car seat which is new, and they weigh up to 13kg they will not need to go into forward facing baby car seats as early. Some car seats can sit babys rear facing for longer. Forward facing baby car seats will last your baby until they reach about 18kg and around 4 years of age. Those seats are known as Group 1 can seats and are much heavier and larger than your babys first car seat. Those types of seats do not come with a carrying handle. Some of those seats come with a 5 point harness and use the cars seat belt which holds the car seat firmly in place. Some lighter and newer Group 2 car seats can be used with your child using the cars own seatbelt. Make sure this type of seat belt sits across your childs shoulder and not the neck. Also make sure it sits across your childs lap area rather than the stomach. Some forward facing baby car seats will last your baby until they are around 6 years of age and up to 25kg. Be sure to check the width and depth sizes of the car seat as some of them are narrower and smaller than others. Do not fit a child car seat in the front seat if it is fitted with a passenger airbag.
